High Dynamic Range

12 March 2008, Boston, MA – High Dynamic Range photography is a
really cool technique that uses several exposures layered together to
reconcile the extreme variations between highlights and shadows.
Normally, an exposure clips at the extremes, losing detail in bright
and dark areas of the image. Normally, these photos shot at night
would look really ugly, but thanks to the power of Photoshop (and
about 30 minutes to process each image) they look pretty nice. Thanks
to the Ericle for coming along for ideas and moral support on the shoot.
